I have posted this link in this section with the deliberate intention of the implied irony. Should we demand the release of dolphins and do nothing about this ? Do our Turkish friends support this ? If not, do they act ?

To say that this makes shocking reading would be an understatement. When will the atrocitities towards women end in these countries. I suspect never. Thank you Lin. It was a slight relief to know that she had been saved from stoning but as I read it not from execution and what kind of life and the many others like her if they do survive.

I can't help feeling that if this was an animal of some sort then there would be a huge outcry. Not much reaction even on this forum. There will be hundreds of these cases and hardly any comment. Why is this?
