Hi all, thanks for your concern! Having injections in my back at the end of month so should be sorted then, hopefully!
Here goes! :D
Arrived at Yasaroglu in Ovacik, poky room, dull and about 120 degrees! Air con rubbish and £3 per night! Can't complain though as it wasn't expensive.
Hotel mamager/owner, Turkish Dick Emery was funny, shouting something like 'Sheneeee!' every time I walked into the restaurant!
I had booked for 11 nights, on 5th day I went on my travels to Kas for 2 days, getting lost trying to find Fethiye Otogar, after being dropped off by dolmus somewhere random!  :-\
The coach journey to Kas took about 2 hours and boy was it worth it! A very interestng journey, through villages I have never seen, and then we turned a corner and WOW! the views were fantastic! Never seen sea so blue in all my life! Pretty litte sandy coves, just gorgeous!
When I arrived, I had no idea where hotel was so I headed down to the marina area, where the main square is, lovely restaurants etc. I stopped for a drink, while asking for directions. To be told, yes, it's back up the hill! Very hilly place is Kas-they asked my name-5 mins later, young lad turns up on a motorbike to take me to hotel! Typical Turkey-I was bloody petrified!
Hotel Hideaway was very nice, having breakfast with views of Meiss, beach towels for your use, even sun creams if needed and free lift to the beach! They have a barbecue every night on roof terrace for 20 Lira, just my luck, couldn't have it as it was too windy! Had a sunbathe on the bathing platforms, it was so windy, it was blowing the parasols over and lounger cushions into the sea!
That afternoon at the beach bar I met a lovely couple from Barnsley who were travelling around Turkey with their 2 children on a yacht, they invited me to have lunch with them, fantastic! Even got me thinking of a week on a gulet next year.
Next day, walked for hours, a quick lie down in the sun, and then went for lunch in one of the restaurants, very pretty grapevines on roof etc, next thing, i'm sat there looking like a bag of ***, as you do when you have been sunbathing, when all these freshly showered people started to fill up the place-I was surrounded-you've guessed it-England were playing and i'd forgotten, another eventful day, as I ended up staying there-the owner wearing an England shirt cheering us on!
At the night I went back down and had Turkish meal opposite, looked over, the owner now had on a Germany shirt on-sooo funny!
The shops were so quaint, no bother whatsoever, sometimes only me in the shop, not even the owner!
I would recommend Kas, it is so pretty and relaxed.
I arrived back at Yasaroglu, in the evening I decided to go and have manicure etc, if you have nails and feet done, you get a free eyebrow threading, when she had finished eyebrows, she asked did I want my moustache doing?? I didn't know I had one!! :D I decided I didn't like the hotel, went on internet and booked the last 4 days at the Pelin!
Was good to be back in Calis!

Just to add I met Lance while I was there, have not brought him home with me, so not sure where he is at the mo?  :)
Also met the lovely Lin and Andy, (Andylin). I spent a really enjoyable night with them and also there nice friends, watching the other England match in the Orient! I can now put a few faces to names on here!
Also met Alanda and her family that night, who live about 10 minutes drive from me.
All in  all, I can honestly say it was the best time I have had in Calis and cannot wait for my next trip there in September!!
Thanks everybody!
PS. There is a lots more, but don't want to send you to sleep!  ;)
