We fly to Manchester from Antalya 21st Dec. then back into Dalaman 3rd Jan. from Manchester.
I had an email 2 days ago to say the return flight had changed time but the flight is still on (for now)

We don't understand why there are no pre Christmas flights etc from Dalaman, as Antalya can be a nightmare to get to from the Fethiye area in the winter with the roads being blocked :(

We went back to Gatwick from Dalaman just before Christmas last year and the flight was fully booked so would have thought that the demand is there?! Maybe they are just not showing yet?

I also had a lovely email yesterday. We were due to fly back to Dalaman from Gatwick on 17th Jan and that's been cancelled. It looks as if TC are now only flying over Xmas & New Year the same as Onur Air!! No direct flights to Dalaman from 3rd Jan until at least March - not good....

I asked the TC guy yesterday why there were virtually no flights out of Dalaman pre Xmas and he said it was lack of demand last year..... when I pointed out all their flights last year were fully booked he was stumped.
On the assumption that the flights I and Donna had cancelled were only half full that is about 300 people who have not got a flight now.  I managed to get a flight into Antalya a day late and as pointed out a lot more inconvenient but I wonder how many people have lost out completely?

I have flown with TC early March to and from Dalaman for the last 2 years, each time there were very few empty seats, so there has been a call for them, can't understand why they say not enough interest. They have probably shot themselves in the foot, as when it comes to booking flights for other times of the year, unless they are a good price, many of us maynot book with them. Some of us will remember thier lack of winter service and the flights they have now cancelled for some of you who have booked.

Seems that lots of operators are canceling flights to save cash. Check out easyjet -so many routes cancelled throughout Europe. Maybe they are expecting something we know nothing about yet (like a second recession?)
