We booked our 2 weeks break to Turkey last November 2009. We booked with Travel Republic and got what we thought was a nice hotel and very good flight times. Our flights out were going out  8.30am and coming back 3.30pm.perfect for us. Since our original booking they have changed our flight times. Our latest is going out 9.00pm meaning we will get to Dalaman at 2.50am and if we are lucky will get to our hotel around 4.00am.My question is has anyone travelled with the Turkish airline "Saga Airlines" which have made these changes 3 times now. If so can I ask what was your experience travelling with them.
Thanks.

Ian, we flew with them in May this year, our original flights were with Viking who cancelled for whatever reason, and we were given the Saga flights.....we took off about 10 minutes late from Manchester...we had to board on the actual runway and up the stairs, I have to say the plane did not look as others we had seen, but to be fair the journey was fine and hassle free and the staff were far more pleasant than on many other airlines (Onur) and no delay coming back and again hassle free, food and drink is expensive but then as expensive as Onur Air which is ludricous......

Having travelled to and from Dalaman on average 3 times a year for the past 8 years we have had a LOT worse....

Some friends of ours flew out of Brum with Saga last month. When I checked their return flight number it wasn't listed. Seems they came back on a shared flight with Onur.

On looking at our booking our original airline was Viking but changed to Saga.At least there is no negative posts about them. The changes have really annoyed us though. Our original arrival time at Dalaman was 12.00 midday so great. Now because of the changes it is now 2.50am the following day meaning we have more or less lost a day of our holiday. You dont even get any compensation just a we do sympathise and understand. That goes a long way, not.
