There were presumably a large number of passengers on this liner which was moored in Invergordon on Thursday last week

But never fear, the local Tourist Information Office was ready and waiting to cope with the influx

I wonder just how many tourists will look at this at Invergordon, in my experience of the Cruise Ships that come into Peterhead, the passenger all have the hard sales talk on board and part with their money for day trips. there are rows of buses waiting at the gangway and as the tourists come off they are whisked away to all the tourist places in the area, i.e. Balmoral, Braemar etc., When the first Cruise ship came into Peterhead I, along with other businesses where asked to set up stalls at the Maritime Museum.  Once done and the door opened we watched the buses driving passed the door.  In the whole day we had 11 customers from the ship and they were either extremely old or in wheelchairs!!!:(

Jacqui - scrawled in chalk on the left hand side of the hut is the following

"Benevuti Scozia - Next Bus to Inverness 14:19"

Which is just as well as there isn't a whole lot to see in Invergordon. ;)
