OMG, I have just read the report on this. what a nightmare for people returning from holidays! We are booked to leave our car there in October - it appears that the fire was started by an electrical fault in one car, and the flames quickly took hold of the whole row!!! They have offered free taxis home for those affected by the fire - it's four hours drive from our house, so would cost them a fortune if it happened to us.
A lot of car parks have a disclaimer notice saying that you leave your car at your own risk - I don't know about this particular car park, so would your insurance (car or holiday?) pay out in this situation [?]
