More praise for Serkan.
My cat who is nearly 16 years old has some sort of illness which has been very noticable these last few days. After my own reearch I thought I knew the problem, despite not being a vet. I went to see my regular vet (but no more) took him print outs and explained her condition etc. All i wanted him to do was to check her out and find out for me, not to just go by what I thought. I had a call from him saying he knew nothing about the condition I mentioned and to find out more. This without even suggesting I take her in.
Losing confidence in him I called Serkan, went to see him this morning, he came straight over to check over my cat and said her condition was not what i thought, but more serious, but could be controlled and no way should I have her put to sleep till he had done blood tests etc. I certainly do not believe Serkan is doing this just for lira, but genuine and honest concern.
So tomorrow I take my cat in for tests and we can take it from there.
With luck she will have more good years left in her with the real care and regular checks she may need.
Of course it could all be too late, but at least I will know if she still has life in her, I know I will now have an excellent vet to get good advice knowing my cat has someone genuine & caring to look after her.
Whatever the outcome, I already have to thank Serkan for taking such an honest, genuine and caring attitude.
I am another here would not hesitate in advising anyone else who needs a vet to go and see him.
