Congratulations to Keenan Sofuoglu!

This afternoon at Magny Cours in France he finished second in the race, which was enough to clinch the World Supersport motorcycle title.

Amazing, as I do not think of Turkey as a motorcycle-racing nation - plenty of commuter bike and scooters, but I've rarely seen anything that could be regarded as sports bike.

The roads in the Fethiye area aren't very good for fast plastic but you do see them about soemtimes.

Yes, I have seen a Yamaha R6 in Fethiye a couple of times, but it somehow looked completely out of place. Nice looking bike, though!

Kenan rides a Honda CBR 600 sponsored by Hanspree of the Netherlands. He won in 2008 then had a go at World Superbike and did naff all (Finished around 9th). Hence his return to World Supersport  8)
