Resort Hoppa (Out of season service?)
« on: October 04, 2010, 13:22:51 PM »
I used Resort Hoppa for the first time this year and although I had to wait for almost 2 hours before actually setting off on our transfer to Calis, I do have to say that it was excellent value for money at just £18.00 return!! So no problems there.
I'm planning to come out for a week in November and what with it being out of season I was wondering if anyone had used them at this time of year and what did they think of the service?

I'm afraid after a 4 hour flight I would not be impressed with a 2 hour wait for the bus to leave the airport.

Waiting two hours would definitely put me off.  When we arrive at the airport (particularly at 1.00am in the morning) I want to get to Calis right away without any delays, but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Yeah the (almost) 2 hour wait was a bit annoying. However, I kept it's £18.00 it's £18.00 and yes you are right Jacqui you do get what you pay for?

I have to agree, I would be peed off waiting 20 minutes, let alone 2 hours!!! I'd rather pay the extra for a private transfer that is ready to go the minute we are. The journey from Dalaman seems to get longer every time I do it, this would be unbearable!

I have used United Blue out of season, a little over £20 (I think)
for a return shuttle transfer, but have been lucky enough to have ended up with a private car transfer at no extra cost, and door to door service.

Hi

Can only speak for using Resort Hoppa in August 2010.  Only waited half an hour on arrival.  However, on our return no one would answer the bloody phone to arrange a pick up time.  Caused us a lot of stress.  It's the same old story you get what you pay for.  Next time we will definately book a private taxi.:(
