Talking of the flying pig.....
I was at an Aberdeen, Hibs game in the 80's when Goram was in goal for the Hibs. Goram was between the sticks at the Beach End and I was on the terrace at the opposite end of the ground.
Suddenly, this wee fella, maybe 6 or 7 years old, in front of me bellowed out "Goram - you're a w*nker. I was a little taken aback that the boy's father, stood right beside him, didn't say anything about the verbal assault on the opposition's goalie.
Undaunted, the wee man did it again, but this time with even more venom " Goram - you're a f..... w*anker"
This time however, the father took decisive action and give his son a right royal clip round the ear.
Good for you I thought, only to have my admiration shattered when, just as the blow landed, the father announced angrily "Stop that son - he's at the other end of the pitch and will never hear you"
