We have had a modified invoice from Aegean telling us of the time changes BUT....... now we are not sure - are we or arn't we that is the question!!!!"

I really am angry at all inaccurate advice coming from Aegean. We have had to cancel a very much looked forward to holiday in our apartment with our neighbours and friends to celebrate the new year. We got a call from them to say our flight was now on the 24th - no use at all as I have got to be in the UK until at least boxing day. Have arranged holidays at work to return on the 8thJanuary. - told our flight will come back on the 3rd Jan instead. The girl on the phone had said all she has done all day is apologise to people. So don't hold your breath if I were you I would contact them as soon as.

Just received an email today from Aegean changing our arrival airport to Bodrum instead of Dalaman on 27th Dec from Gatwick, nothing on the email to say about changes to return flight but I am sure that is to come! Means a 3-3.5 hr coach journey, csn not believe the same thing happened on our Christams flights last year!

Like said before we have now agreed to go on the 17th of Dec instead

of the 20th,our return flight including 1 hold bag each was £320,the price his now £346 each not including any hold baggage,It all seems strange,I am wonder if they would like people to cancel who book when they were cheap,hoping they will sell them on at top price.just a thought.:

We received an e mail today, telling us that the  Gatwick to Dalaman flight on December 27th was cancelled.... and it was either Bodrum, or a refund.
We chose the refund and we have now booked with TC from Manchester flying on the same days... slightly more expensive for us, but we gain 14 more hours in Turkey.... we were lucky !!!

Hi we are the same, flight on the 17th dec from Gatwick to Dalaman now canx now transfered to Bodrum same date dep Gatwick at 20.00 arrive Bodrum 1.45am upto today they do not know what time the coach tranfer will be at Bodrum to Dalaman last year it met the flight, which was late leaving Gatwick by 5 hours due to snow so took us 20 hours door to door hopefully this year it will not be bad weather.

Return flight on the 2nd Jan all ok depart Dalaman  at 16.00 arrive at Gatwick at 18.15

Don't forget to get your £10 compensation which you are entiled to they will send this back to you in cheque form.

Ageanflights will be phoning me next week to advise the tranfer time at Bodrum/Dalaman will post details when known.

So who else is traveling on this flight that are CB members??

Hi Gunna we are on the same return flight as you on 2nd January, my original booking was for flights to leave at 18.45 departing from Dalaman, now it is for same as you 16.00 hrs, did not receive an email or call to say return flight time had changed until today when I emailed Aegean, but hey ho I can live with losing a few hours on return so long as they dont change the airport to Bodrum for return as well, just cant believe the same thing happened last year for our Xmas flights with Goldtrail!

hi all had a phone call today. the flight to manchester on the 27th is still flying but at 1900hrs and returning on the 3rd jan 15.30 from dalaman we were to fly back on the 7th so have lost out.
i got the impression the staff  don't know what's going on,i had to hold twice while they checked out my queries

Yes - I am on these flights too.  received my e-mail yesterday - was surprised because I called them last Friday just to confirm that the flights were going as planned and they told me that there were no changes and that it was only the Manchester flights that were affected.  Fortunately it is no problem for me to get an extra day's leave from work and at least it's a couple of extra days holiday but for some people it could be very difficult.  Just concerned about the coach transfer from Bodrum - don't want to be left standing there!
