Pookie, the weather has been fairly dry here so you wouldn't have needed your wellies. The freshly fallen leaves were dry and made satisfying swish-swish-swishing sounds as we strode through them.

oohhhh you've inspired me to get the walking boots out this weekend...hope it stays dry.  The colours have been fantastic here in Cambridge too, but quite wet underfoot.  And you can guarantee it will piddle down on Friday...(Bonfire night).
