I've seen them in lots of plugholes when on holiday, little round white balls. What are they called please? Got a bit of a debate going on with a work mate about them,,,,,,,,sad, I know!

they are dual purpose one for keeping the mozzies away and two to keep the sink smelling fresh(yuk cant stand the smell meself)

Tried tasting ours, certainly not mint imperials, definitely mothballs.

We use them all the time - they are sold in Genpa for about 2 lira per box of 50 (ish)- the brand is called Cenk - see details from their web site - using google translate:

PRODUCT DETAILS - Cenk Tablets Odor
Cenk urinal deodorizer tablets are used, and sink. Removes all unwanted odors. Do not use the bathroom and outside toilets. Cenk deodorant tablets, 150gr'lik box, packaging bag with 1kg'lik 500gr'lik jar or can be obtained.

Ha ha ha, cheers for the info. My co worker loves them and wants some but she was horrified when I told her I thought they were mothballs. She loves the smell of them.
