Not sure if this should go into the football section?

Should we really suck up to this corrupt and reprehensible dictatorship - it really makes feel ashamed that we don't have the b*lls to say what we should be saying to them!!

If we don't get the decision tomorrow it should be time to attack. Mexico and Germany have hosted it twice each since we hosted it our one and only time. We have better facilities and stadia than any of them and it's outrageous to be continually ignored by a bunch of crooks only looking to place the World's biggest sport event in the place that will best line their personal pockets.

I'm sure England could find plenty of support to break away from FIFA to a new World football organisation, if one could be set up. FIFA do what they do because they see themselves as all powerful and totally untouchable and answerable to nobody. It just takes a few good men to get the ball rolling and either a new organisation comes, or FIFA realise they better clean up their act and fast.

Or, do nothing.

H - did you see the Panorama programme?
It has been common knowledge for years but now we have even more details.

We should be lobbying for an independent enquiry into FIFA, It's finances and it's distribution of funds which are more often than not tax exempt as a charity.

The Dutch have costed the World Cup - it doesn't make money!
It probably wins votes from a particular section of society.

The Dutch have also disclosed the demands of the bid which stipulate amongst other things a creation of a tax haven around the event to give tax breaks, relaxation of immigration and employment laws for FIFA and it's major sponsors.......

It is an absolute disgrace that our future King and our Prime Minister are sucking up to these scumbags.

From a playing point of view might it not be a good thing. The weight of expectation ever 4 years is immense. Playing at home would make it unbearable.
