Now a matter of some seriousness, particularly at this time year. Sprouts. These seem to divide opinion as deeply as the notorious Marmite. Now I love sprouts. For me they are one of the great treats of winter - and not just for Christmas dinner. But I understand that some wimpish, finnicky eaters have a problem with them. Ridiculous.

[But don't open a jar of Marmite within my smelling range.]

I am a big fan of both sprouts and Marmite, so I will add something I really can't stand. Butternut squash, what the hell is that all about, it's vile!

Marmite yes, sprouts only at Christmas and even then only 2 or 3.

Sprouts at anytime for me.
Marmite OK but only if thinly spread on toast.
Butternut squash, no thanks I find it a bit insipid.

Sprouts and Marmite, the 2 Y's. Yeuk for the former, Yum for the latter.

Sprouts - yes
Butternut squash (roasted) - yes
Marmite - yes
Olives - no........
