Cheapest Flights [MOVED]

[Moved from Calis Beach Section]

Hello everyone

I booked tickets from Gatwick to Dalaman a couple of months ago for a trip in May 2011. These cost £175 return pp. I am looking to book for September at the moment and cost are £210 plus pp. Is this price level about right. Can anyone advise the best time to book in general terms.

Thanks Mike

Mike, a lot depends on flight times and the airport you wish to fly from. In my opinion sub £200 is a very good price. If you are outside school holidays (which September is) there are normally some good prices around as flights are plentiful. I much prefer to pay a bit more now for better flight times, this flying in the middle of the night malarky is too much hastle. I have previously booked many flights around Christmas as I have found the prices good as the agents realise everyone is skint.
Good luck

There are some good deals to be had, the trick is to search on a regular basis. The best search site I have found is skyscanner, have you tried this site.
