Swearing Toy
« on: January 18, 2011, 10:04:13 AM »
My daughter bought my Granddaughter a very popular toy for Christmas, so popular there was only one left at my local store and I picked it up for her.  On Sunday we were amazed when my daughter pressed the button and let us hear a particular sentence in which the toy seemed to be swearing.  We listened a few times there was no doubt. :o  There is a piece in the papers about the toy today and it is really swearing.  In case anyone out there has bought one for a child, you can request a new toy   ;)

I listened to the video and it quite clearly says 'If your happy and you know it bark with me - Yap Yap'. Maybe its sound different to regional accents.. or dirty minds  ;)

Well, I have listened to the toy that my Granddaughter owns and it definitely does not say Bark..  My daughter pointed this out to us before this story broke, so no dirty mind, just good ears.    I have read that there are different accents on some of the toys.

Yes, I think we have cleared this.  The one on the video does sound like "Bark" others don't [:o)]
