PC is very good in a modern society. Sadly, non-PC is far more funny. Is there a man on here who hasn't taken the mick out of a woman based entirely on the fact that she is a woman, or forwarded a text 'joke' they received about something really bad that has happened on the news, or told a joke about a member of an ethnic minority or the like.

Sack everyone who has done any of those things, in private, as it would mean sacking just about every one of us!

I had a cracking text about this very subject today but I don't think my tin hat is big enough protection to post it. :o

Is there a woman on here who hasn't taken the mick out of a man based entirely on the fact that he is a man.

I think not.

Anyway, fair play to the lady in question. She has maintained a most dignified silence throughout all of this controversy. A controversy which has even caused certain newspapers to publish photographs of her enjoying her own private time on holiday. She has followed her chosen career and done so very successfully. She got the pivotal decisions right in one of the highest pressure games in the biggest league in the World. Potentially an inspiration to many others to strive and achieve. What a shame she hasn't got bigger tits.

Just a thought but did either of the two ladies make a formal complaint against Andy Gray.

And from where did said newspaper obtain those photos?

Well I am well pead off with this lineswoman as she ran the line for Watford vs Portsmouth and ruled a offside that was not. Could have meant us winning 4-0 sack her!! Seriously I think this is a load of tosh and the fact people are climbing on the PC band wagon and then moan about things being too PC on other issues is ridiculous. As a Watford fan I could hate Andy Gray more than others (FA cup 84) but he was bantering with a colleague off air, as Scunner has said how many off us have said things which someone else can find offensive between ourselves and had a damn good laugh about it, double standards around! He should not have been sacked for this and as for 'very lewd' remarks can you put your hand down my trousers, get real! Why can't those people offended just say I am sorry but I don't like that or don't do that or cut it out face to face instead of demanding that they are sacked, tarred and feathered by someone else!! Granted if it is something that has caused serious personal intimidation (direct)or ignored f2f then report it but who is losing sleep over these remarks, you could argue it has highlighted in a postive light female officials instead, some people may not have even known there were female officials till this story broke in mens football, they do now! And isn't it a smack back in their face's that they moaned about females not knowing the off-side rule and she proved (in that game at least) she does.
