hi members
im Tina and moved here from uk with my partner Mick, we live up near canal in Ciftlik and so far so good :)were finding the people Turkish and ex pats really nice and very helpful,
we had never been to Turkey before we came to buy a property which was last november 2009 and came back and completed in june 2010 but loved it straight away, even though the weathers not brill at mo theres no comparison to uk and hopefully sun will return soon 8) 8)
we brought our lovely pointer cross with us called Belle from uk and have adopted a street pup which weve called Stella (as we found her at Meri bar and Micks favourite beer in uk is Stella) lol
its nice to know that there are websites like this so we can get help if needed as at first its all a bit daunting although very exciting
so we would just like to say hi to everyone and thanks to Turkey for allowing us the privelidge to live here in your beautiful country  :):D 8)

Hi Tina and mick.
Welcome to the forum, Julia and i move out in may 2010, and like you we have loved every minute, we also brought are dog benji who is a laso apso with attitude. we live in a turkish house just around the corner in yaniklar. If you do have any problems just post on the forum and you will get lots of help from the members as we have done in the past.

Welcome Tina,

When you say Ciftlik do you mean the village or Koca Calis? We have a place in the latter and not far from the canal either.
