What would you have done in Jeremy Bowen's position when he clearly ruffled Mr Gaddafi when he said "why are people protesting?" - to which the reply was "nobody is protesting - have you seen them"

I think I would have bottled it :D

If Gaddafi said to me "nobody is protesting - have you seen them?", I know exactly what I would say.

"No".

I did notice a nervous little moment (you know like the one we saw from George W Bush) when he seemed to "chew on his gum whilst thinking aloud" when I suspect he was thinking "what do I do here and where are the nearest exits" but then he carried on making his point.

I thought he might be a Yorkshireman as they will start a war anywhere they can but he is probably from Wales with a name like Bowen

Gosh yes, my stomach did a roll-over when Gaddafi asked him that - I wouldn't have blamed Jeremy if he had said,
"No, not me sir!" and done a runner.

I hope they are guarding Bowen now as the skunk could do anything after being confronted like that
