Merhaba everyone,

We are sitting in the office in a village near York going over everthing we need for our move to Fethiye. While in Australia a month ago we had big plans - packing up a car, driving over with all our stuff (nothing silly just clothes and cds really - cant afford new!)

Now we are laughing ...ha ha

Because we are hitting our heads against the wall a bit after reading hundreds of posts about residence and shipping!

Anyways we are looking forward to starting a new life ...we are both under 30 with not much to lose and a lovely villa in Tasyaka and 2 cottages for rental in Kaya - we might be Kayakoyuoldboys new neighbours for awhile.

Glad you all love Turkey as much as we do and any advice anyone has we would love to see your responses.

If its only personal posessions that you are bringing it would be worth while contacting a freight company for a cost. Check the search facility about the regulations regarding importing your car, it might help with your decision.
