It just shows what a strange game football is for a club supporter.  I am now at the point of just about recovering from the SORE draw with Liverpool yesterday, and all the pain that went with it.  And here I am starting to rub my hands together at the prospect of Wednesday's game against the Spuds down at the Lane.

Is it that a supporter has to be totally forgiving, or perhaps has a rapid recovery from mental anguish, or are we just simply stupid.  I wish someone could explain it to me.

As one old Spud player used to regularly say, "It's a funny old game Saints"....  ;)

Problem is with the current line-up is that the Plan B too often involves Billy Bendtner solution.  Oh for a striker of the likes of Ian Wright, he wouldn't have wasted the opportunities that many of the current crop do, or even someone like a Big Jon Radford to put a bit of steel into the attack would work.  Not likely to happen though ;)

A supporter who is born into a team has no choice. He or she cannot just change and support another team or indeed have a 'second team' really. Those who can are fans - not supporeters!

It's life ... it's football.

I don't agree Stoop when you are born to a club in a small town in the lower divisions mine was Chesterfield, division 4 then everyone I knew also has a team they support in the premier division (first division in our day)
I travelled the length and breadth of the country watching Chesterfield, but also go to watch my other premier league side whenever I can.

I support Carlisle United, but am a fan of several teams, including Leeds Utd, Tottenham H, Man Utd, and Morton. so there!
