Scunner said" Lennon needs to take responsibility as he is clearly a man of very little self control"

Neil Lennon was forced to quit playing for NornIrn because he and his family were threatened.
Neil Lennon has received live bullets by post.
Neil Lennon has been assaulted several times.

All of the above were before the latest bomb threat.
None of the above happened when  he was at Crewe or Leicester.

The parcel bombs were sent to others: a QC and an MSP.
Live bullets were sent also to 2 Celtic players.
There was a previous incident in the same game when Ally McCoist went ballistic and had to be restrained. The Scottish media has airbrushed from its coverage.

And so, regarding the whys and wherefores of bigotry and bombs, I would suggest that Neil Lennon's self control is the least of them.

i have been reading this thread, and as with some other threads, i was intending  not  to participate but as you can see I failed!

And how do any of the above relate to whether Lennon has any self control? He can't see a free kick given against Celtic without having to stick his finger in some poor sod's face - is this because he had death threats and bullets on the post?

Ok.I have read more of these posts and can only speak from personal experience.Happy Monday, why do people in Wishy support Rangers or Celtic and not Motherwell? My wife comes from Camnethan.Bigotry.
Jaqui Harvey, you have said what angers me so much,Celtic supporters worship the Southern Irish and spit on the polis at their park.I have a neighbour whose eldest son walks around with either a Celtic top,or,Eircom something, and supports Southern Ireland at Football or Rugby.Anne.I agree with you.I worked at Tobago St Police Office and know the Calton.I wish I could remember the woman and man who ran a pub almost opposite the Barrowlang?Sorry,Highlander-Minority?NO.Michael.I am Scots.Ovacikpeedoff.Anne is 100% right. In the East end of Glasgow, you CAN walk about with blue or green. No probs.Match days Ehhhh.
Amca.Not sure about that.
I still don't get it.You stay in Motherwell,Kilmarnock,Aberdeen etc and support Celtic or Rangers[?][?][?]
Incedentally, the railings in the parks in Larkhall, are painted red, white and blue.

Just watched the olkd firm derby and it was a great result if you were a Celtic supporter.

What I cannot understand is why Lennon had to go out on the pitch and really wind up the Rangers supporters by putting his hands to his ears. It was not necessary. He just seems set on confrontation all the time.If that is the example that the manager sets it is easy to see why you have violence after the game.

I do not really support either side but I am a big fan of the Lions of Lisbon. In my opinion that Celtic team was the greatest team to win the European Cup because the team was made up of Scots. It is probably the only team that has won the European cup without foreigners.

Wholeheartedly agree with you on Lennon. Perhaps it was a reaction to the booing from the Rangers fans when the Celtic fans were chanting "there's only one Neil Lennon. But it was still totally unnecssary.

Also agree regarding the Lisbon Lions and all born within 30 miles of Glasgow.

Think you will find that the Liverpool teams that won the European cups in 1977 1978 & 1981 all had British players and no foreigners. ;)

Steve Heighway played for Liverpool at that time. Republic of Ireland, I think.
