Our next Fig fundraising event will be the Loius de Berniere day at Kayaköy on May 1st, good for us but unfortunately for anyone who would like to attend all the tickets were sold out shortly after going on sale
We will be holding another Craft sale on the seafront next to Address restaurant on May 11th for which stalls can now be booked re Sue Tekin or by my profile on here,
We are planning an English summer fete to be held in the area in the strip near the Kismet bar , more dtails for that to follow but we hope to bring the culture of a traditional English fete to Fethiye with Morris and country dancing displays, games such as Throwing wet sponges at people in stocks, coconut shys etc
Also a childrens corner with face painting, electric cars and a clown and other games
If anyone is willing to help with the initial set up, has ideas for stalls or could come to help on the day we would welcome your input
Figs Coffee mornings on Wednesdays continue to be a big success, thanks to the Address restaurant and Caroline and co.
And a big thank you to all the volunteers who keep the charity shop open for 5 days a week all year around. We cant believe how popular the shop has proved to be with Expats and Turks alike. a big thank you to our donaters , without which we wouldnt have the goods to sell
Hope a good Easter was enjoyed by all
