Only great if you live in England:( Never any great deals from Scotland.  My daughter is looking for flights for her, her husband and the baby for June and finding flights are really expensive.
As she lives in Aberdeenshire she is looking at Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh but they are all coming up very expensive.  If anyone knows are sees a reasonably priced flight from Scotland (they cannot travel to England, it's too far with a baby) please let me know.
Thanks:D ;)

I find it hit and miss form Machester to be honest, we go out to our place 5-6 times a year and the best deal we have had has been £80 but the most expensive £300! August as you can imagine, is really expensive, good luck! 8)

Thanks Toky, I had told Leah to look at Jet2.  I think all the cases are going to be filled with baby stuff.

I think if it suits you, sometimes you are better booking a cheap one way, if you are flexible by a few days, then look for a cheapy coming home, we got one going out for £49,00 in August, so fingers crossed, the down side is I will end up having to pay for leg room, because TC  seating is so cramped, to be honest, i really did not want to fly with them again,

My daughter just booked flights with luggage, but no meals.  They decided after consideration to leave from Aberdeen as taking into account the travelling to Glasgow or Edinburgh and times of flights there was not much difference in price and travelling with a baby it is best to take the shortest journey times. So for the two of them and luggage for a baby £571.96. (no third seat). No extra legroom as it's not allowed if you have a baby, you just have to squeeze up with everyone else.
So anyone in England moaning about cheap flights think yourselves really lucky to have the luxury of being able to get one.
Perhaps the great Alex Salmond will be able to sort out cheap Scottish flights when we are a Republic!!

It's not everyone in England who gets cheap flights, they are very very rare in Newcastle unless you book a year in advance!

Fine with me I usually book a year in advance too, makes little or no difference.  However, I do know people that live around here including my son who travelled to Newcastle for a bargain flight.   It would take hell to freeze over before a person from Newcastle travels to Scotland for a cheap flight.  :o  So please get back to me when that happens.:(
