Hi all.

I am trying to send a picture from a disc - properties say that picture is 640 x 480 pixels (whatever that means). Unfortunatley, Chrissie tells me that it would be too small if chosen.

Any ideas.

Hi H,

I had that problem with a few of my snaps - unfortunately nothing you can do - the source image is simply too small to be sharp enough when printed at the size needed for the calender.

Whilst you can enlarge the image, you cant put in detail that isn't in the source (unless you work for CSI Miami of course).

sounds like a resized image - do you have the original full resolution anywhere?

IanK, Nichola - thanks both - have tried re-sizing. If it doesn't work hey-ho it won't be a disaster.

We will be sorting through the photographs in the next few days and then after consulting with the publisher to see which will reproduce ok for the calendar will contact the winning photographers

The photos have now been selected and the 2012 charity calendar is going to print later this week.  We will be announcing the names of the forum members who have pictures on the calendar next week so watch this space
