I have been asked by our good friend Fehmi and his son Serdar to let people know that the Roka restaurant in Calis will be reopening this Friday at 12.00 am. Repairs have now been carried out following the recent fire and the restaurant is now ready for customers again. Pete and I wish them both the best and hope that you will support them.

I am sure that all the people on here who sent their best wishes after the fire will be going along to support them. Me and Barrie certainly will be and I know that the rest of our committee will be.

The Roka was packed tonight. Over 40 people sitting down for a meal when we were there - it was great to see the support for the family.

I wish them luck in the re-opening although I'm not sure that I can go so soon after the lovely young woman died there.

We had a fantastic meal last night at the Roka really good to see them open again. We wish Fehmi and his family all the very best for the future.

Hi Chrissie & Pete. We are still in the UK and are due back to Calis 7th Sept.

We are well aware of the catastrophe and were more than saddened by it.

I have written a personal letter direct to Fehmi & Serdar

Glad to see the support you and other are putting in to Roka and we can't wait to do the same.

We'll be arriving in Calis on Monday morning (30th May) and will certainly visit to pay our respects and buy a meal or two. So glad that the Roka is up and running again but sad that such a lovely lady will no longer be there.
