Functions Band....
« on: May 31, 2011, 11:45:31 AM »
Just seen the Jamie Rae posting and thought I'd mention that my daughters (Katie) band, The PaperDolls has a new lead singer.  They're based in Brighton, my daughter's the drummer and has a degree in music and is currently completing her teaching certificate.  Anyway, they've just finished their new video and I thought maybe someone might like to view it.

Tried to view it via link but doesn't come up in Turkey. Is it the right address?

I agree about the lead singer but the original (was brilliant incidentally) had to move back home so they signed Helena.  But thanks for your comment, it's interesting that you have the same feeling as me, although I haven't seen them live and perhaps she's better in the flesh (so to speak  :)).

Couldn't agree more about her voice but if the vocals were turned up a bit it would help
as a local boy I will try and catch them live if they gig locally, might be better in a live gig
(many bands are )

It's always difficult getting the sound right for youtube etc. I'm sure the lead will sound better live. Good luck to them.

Thanks for the comments.  I think they're playing at Blackstock Farm on 12th June?
