thats the answer isn't it ?   consideration for others.....  I personally hate having someone else invade my personal space, and therefore wouldn't do it to others.

Priority boarding does work with some airlines. Jet2 are pretty keen when they let people through the boarding gate. The best I have used though is without doubt Air Asia. With them you get a sticker for your jacket/top and without it you get nowhere near the gate until the over 65's and priority boarders get on the plane.

Easyjet is a joke and they never seem to bother just letting everyone 'go for it'.

Trying Ryanair for the first time in October - priority boarding 'an all'. Should be fun  :)

Karaokemark made a good point - Jet2 simply don't have seats that recline and there are no irritations. On one flight though I was dozing and when I returned to the land of the living I looked down and found I had 3 feet! The person behind actually had his foot so far through under my seat that it was in line between my two feet. Had he worn the same trainers as me I'd have had the shock of my life!!! Needless to say, my heel came down on his instep with some force in an accidental action of sorts. He didn't extend his limb again during the flight.

They should stop reclining of seats on all charter flights, there is nothing worse than the person in front deciding they will sit in your lap for the journey.   I find placing your knees in the back of the chair helps, but some people just don't care.

One should never ever recline, shows a lack of breeding.

The only time we have ever reclined was between kuala lumpur and sydney because we had seats right at the back..toilets were really close...it was magic.

Any other time we dont as we prefer to be considerate and it really makes me mad if other people in front recline....sorry but it does...

i hate  people who do... And make a point of knocking the seat as much as possible... So sleep for them is not an option...

We never recline our seats and Des if you reclined yours in front of my missus you'd get whiplash when she pushed it back  8) and you'd deserve it [:(!]
