debit card charges dropped

monarch have announced that they will not be charging for debit card transactions which was 3.5%-however they have introduced a flat rate £10 for credit cards-lets hope others follow and drop the debit card charge

Might be good news for some people, but what if you are booking a one way flight for 1 person? For some folks it may not be financially viable.

Surely a one way flight or return are covered on the above statement. Use your debit card and don't pay charges...use your credit card and pay £10 fixed fee.
Makes sense to me or have I missed something?
