Best advice is to decide on your specification & get several quotes. We've just had the exterior of the site 6 blocks of 6 apartments painted & the quotes varied from 15.5k to 31.7k. Not much difference!!

It's more important to think about what sort of job you are going to get - this is the capital of getting a cheaper price and that isn't always a good thing. It is also a place where everyone's an expert on everything and for all prices quoted you'll find someone to tell you it's a rip off. That doesn't mean it is. I agree with the earlier reply - get a few quotes and for gawd's sake, don't jump automatically for the cheapest.

You could also try Bayram, he & his numerous brothers seem to have all trades covered & offer good workmanship 0535 239 2334.

As Scunner says - it depends on the result. We once asked Orange to arrange for our house to be painted (which wasn't cheap) and when we saw the result we were far from happy. Apart from the horrible yellow they used there was paint splattered everywhere. To be fair they did send someone out to clean up the mess but the funny part was when the transfer driver came to pick us up for our return flight. He asked us if we liked the paint job and we said 'no' in no uncertain terms. He looked a little upset and said he was the painter.

We thought we had paid for a professional job but it turned out to be the taxi driver.

Quite agree with Anne, get a quote from Raffet as he does a really good job and is very clean. We have used him a couple of times for painting work so far and have been very pleased with both his work and his price.  Saying that for any other work from electrics to locksmiths to iron steps have a word with Bayram as he or one of his many brothers are always able to help.
