Internet banking at ING
« on: June 08, 2011, 21:10:28 PM »
So there I was in the ING bank in May setting up an internet banking account.  Sat with Angel (always a pleasant way to spend a half hour, she's much prettier than Alper) and all went very smoothly with no problems at all and I walked out armed with my User ID and a message on my mobile with my pin code. I just forgot to ask one vital question..... What's the internet address to get logged in? Doh!

Do ING have the security thing where they send an SMS message to your mobile, in order to sign on to internet banking? If so, do they allow a UK mobile number?

I had a problem with Fortis, where they said they only sent SMS messages to Turkish phones. Not much use for intenet access, when in the UK for most months of the year.

Thanks for any feedabck. John

I just rang Alper and told him my English phone number, ING send a 4 digit code. He changed it on the system for me, had no problems using internet banking in England. We got back Friday night so I will ring him this morning to change it back to my Turkish mobile.
