Introduced my Turkish husband to fish and chips at the Okyanus last night - he loved them - was even heard to mutter they were better than a kebab. If you haven't been well worth a visit.  Big pieces of fish just enough chips and a small portion of mushy peas 10tl per person.  The batter was crispy and cooked to perfection.  Service is a bit slow when they are busy but well worth the wait. Drinks are reasonably priced too.

Have to admit, had my doubts about this place and would never have gone in there without a friend suggesting it, but it was delicious and really enjoyed it.

It's next door to the Lighthouse restaurant.
Agree name needs changing and sulking now as our bread wasn't toasted!

Always make a point of dining here every time we are in Calis. Apart from the menu its always worth asking what else he has on the day and taking a look in the chiller cabinet.

He had a small tank of crabs last week - they were very tasty indeed!

I've only ever had the fish and chips here.......I'm planning another visit this week and am wondering what other people would recommend.

I like the sole - I am not really into fish - but the sole is taken off the bone, and made into rounds and served as a kebab along with green peppers and tomatoes - delicious.  We have also tried the prawns with chilli also very nice.   I cannot manage the normal portion of fish & chips so always have the half portion which suits me fine.
