Pete and I were lucky to have been the winning bidder for the meal kindly donated by Yengec Restaurant in Karagozler, Fethiye, for the recent Calis Children's Charity Promises Auction.
On Tuesday evening we decided to redeem the meal for my birthday so rang the restaurant to book a table. We were collected from Calis by one of the partners (they now provide a pick up and return service to Calis) and taken to our reserved table overlooking the yachts in Yes Marina. The food was exquisite. We had four starters including crab claws and octopus which were lovely, followed by grilled sea bass which was deboned for us at the table and fruit desserts followed by a suprise birthday cake. The service was excellent, very well trained attentive staff and the ambience was lovely. It is not just a fish restaurant as people seem to think. They have a really extensive and not particularly expensive menu with lots of steak dishes, pastas and vegetarian options plus snacks during the day. It is a great place for a special meal in a lovely location by the waters edge and open all year round - well worth a visit.
