Hi, I am Jenny - planning to move to Turkey Calis area next February, as I wont be working when in Turkey I would really like to help with the street dogs, what local charities are there?? would I be able to work voluntarily one day a week for eg?? if theres anyone there that can give me good sound advise I would very much appreciate it.  I will be taking my own dog - so I also would like to know how any of your dogs cope with the heat? I have a labradoodle he has long hair but I plan to get him trimmed up regularly... is there a good poodle parlour or am i better off doing it myself?  is the sea at Calis ok for dogs to swim in? are they allowed? I have heard you have to make sure your dog is on a lead when walking them otherwise you may get a fine - is this true? is there any parks, open land where the dogs can run etc.. sorry lots of questions but really want to know all of this. Any other info you have would be great. Thanks jenny

Jenny :   Tinkerman is definitely your man.  I'm sure he will give you lots of information when he is back.  I know that Animal Aid would love extra volunteers.  Hope the move goes smoothly...good luck !
