Just back from Sunday lunch at the Kings Garden, one of our winning bids for meals at the Promises auction.
Absolutely fantastic, Salih looked after us really well, best tomato soup I have had in a while, genuine home made soup, I had the roast beef, which came with real British horseradish sauce, and a lemon pancake to finish. Highly recommend a visit. fantastic views as well.
Thank you Kings Garden.

I took some new owners and a few guests at Violet up to Kings Garden on Thursday night. We were picked up dead on time from Violet and taken up with two other customers :D We all had excellent starters and mains along with plenty drink and were too stuffed for sweets :P The following Belly Dancing was fab :D and "par for the course" she couldn't resist my charm  :) and just HAD to dance with me  8) Seriously we had a great night and thanks to Salih who gave us some personal attention which was due to CBF  8) He recognized me from our Jo's wedding piccies. Can you please do the honour with a couple of piccies Mr Scun [?] cos Im still in Calis and don't have photo bucket.
p.s. The sunset views and walk up to the tombs really added to the night  8)

In truth Karen I do not use anything in the daytime  8) and I get a lot of stick from people who know better than me  ;) My secret is lavish applications of Bepanthol Body Lotion (Bayer) every night and continue for several weeks when I go home  8) Other moisturisers, Nivea etc, will do but Bepanthol soaks is so well and leaves you with a nice sheen  8) but is not slippery or sticky in any way  8) All the chemists have it but it's cheaper near Devlet. It used to be abt 15tl when I first got it in Turkey and it was then made by Roche. From Bayer it's now 22.5tl for 200ml [:(!]
p.s. Additionally I was here for a month in May/June  8) then only home for 23 days before returning  8) That's got to help  8)
Just had a thought  ;) In explaining what I do I AM NOT advising anybody to stop using high factor lotions in the heat of the day. I am quite happy to sit under a parasol from 1:30 til 4:30 as the cotton type only act like a factor 15. By all means use the Bepanthol but work out what your own skin will take. I've been doing it for 30 years + so I think I know mine by now  ;)
