Could anyone advise on the best way of booking a flight to the UK at short notice, i'm sure that I have seen flights to the UK advertised in a window in Fethiye, but just cannot remember where(!). A friend may need to travel back to the UK as a relative is critically ill. I am well aware that flights at short notice can be extremely expensive, but knowing the expertise of forum members - thought it would well be worth a post on the forum. Many Thanks.

There is a place opposite the supermarket in Fethite (the one that back onto the council offices)

If you have a computer why not trey skyscanner. I had a qucick looj at Monday and the start at just over £100.

This link might work for that search:

If it is a critical situation, Turkish Airlines fly every day so you can book the evening before and to be honest in a critical situation, the expense does not come into it.

Mon, 15. Aug   17:55   DLM   LGW   20:10   Direct   (04:15)   PegasusAirlines

I know it's a bit of a stretch to get there but there are regular flights from Antalya to Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick.

Thomson sell flights from their office here in Fethiye and say if you find a cheaper price they will match it. Office on Oludeniz road, on the right just past the traffic lights after the prison. Number in my office so will post it on here tomorrow.
