Transfer to Antalya - 7th Sept 9am Pegasus to M/c
« on: August 14, 2011, 17:03:55 PM »
Hi - a long shot but we are having to book a transfer to Antalya for our  return to Manchester on 7th Sept - PC 495 departing at 9.10am

We will be leaving Fethiye at about 3.30am on 7th September.

Is anyone interested in a shared transfer?

Ian

Ian, during last winter there was a Pamukkale coach leaving Fethiye around the 3 am mark. It may be worth investigating rather than forking out for a private transfer.

Liz - you were right there is a Pammukale Bus leaves the Otogar at 3.00am - gets us to Antalya at 6.15am (cost 44 lira for 2)  :)

We will then have to get a taxi from the Otogar to the Airport at 6.15am which I am led to believe will cost about 45 lira - anyone done that trip recently in a taxi?

In total £32 at present rates as opposed to £90 transfer.

I do love this forum :D :D

A dolmus that goes from the Otogar directly to the Airport - how long did it take approximately and did it go to the international terminal?

I have about 60 minutes giving me enough time to find my way to the check in desk ok.

Many thanks.

I think I might quit on my saving whilst I am ahead :D

There is a coach running from the otogar in Antalya to the airport, but it takes around an hour & was 2.5tl in March. Also it depends which international terminal - there are 2, one's close to the domestic terminal, the other is quite a distance from domestic. If you get off at the wrong one (as I did) it's about 10tl in a taxi!!! For the first one you get off at domestic, which is where the bus goes first & walk. Otherwise stay on & go to the other international

Mine's a white angora  8):D

It's always worth asking on the coach if anyone else is heading for the airport & splitting the cost. Tried it both times, first time I was lucky, 2nd no takers
