Hi Val, nice of you to reply and so soon.  I can't be there much initially;  I must rent it out in summer if I can.  I'll try to get in out of season. Might see you then ! Do you live in Turkey all the time? What doesbeing a senior 4 star member mean?

Hi Alan, nice to get your reply, thanks; my place backs onto the mountain with sweeping views .Thats why I got it though I can't be there much,

Hallo KKoldboy, not so much of the old! Thanks for your prompt reply, its nice when people are sociable. My frinds from here have built a house at Uzumlu, they hope to live there in a year. I read your profile , your place sounds fascinating to a country bloke and animal fanatic like me.

Hallo Linda Nice to have your reply. My place is 46 Pinara , right at the end of the complex next to where the road heads uphill to Mt Babadag . It has sweeping views across the mountain ranges, but I'll have to let it out to holiday makers as much as possible to pay the mortgage. If i went to Hisaronu 3 and 5 times a year I'd have to live there, glad it suits you so well.

David

Hi Dave

Welcome to the forum - we're not far from you - just down the road in Ovacik.  We've just recently bought our place and are going over in a couple of weeks to furnish it.  Agree with you about the views - that's why we also bought there!  Good luck in May.

Best wishes

lindi and Colin  :)

I must have sruck a chord or a nerve with you with my witissism about escapees from britain, glad it tickled you. I escaped first time when I was 15 to Oz in 1962 silly enough to return 1980 Surely thats why we go to all the expence and fag of buying abroad
