Billy as he was known to all his friends and family was a very frequent visitor to the Fethiye area, he spent some of his time at Guvens and was an avid Burnley supporter, he also loved trekking all over Turkey and many other countries.

Sadly Billy died in July aged 52 to a sudden heart attack whilst walking in the Lake District.

Unbeknown to us Billy also frequented the Animal Shelter and loved the place, some of his family and friends, also frequent visitors to the area, have now come over to Fethiye to present us with a donation that was raised at the wake, this amounted to £526.

We met them at the Shelter today and showed them around so they could see why Billy loved it there.

This is Billy at Cadianda in June

On behalf of Animal Aid I would like to say a very big Thank You to Billy and to his close friends and family, R.I.P. Billy :)

What a lovely thing to do in his memory.

The guy in the red t shirt--is that his son?? I had to do a double take because ihe looks like Billy with hair. ( I never met Billy just going on the pictures.)

Really good to read how something nice can come out of an event so really terrible. Well done Billy and his family.
