Our Samsung LCD TV has lost the picture, sound is still OK. Anybody know of a reliable repairer or if even it is repairable? There is nothing at all showing just a blank screen.

A guy called SINEN did ours. Unfortunatly I cant retrieve his phone number my phone has died, but he works in ALTUS electrical store in the road just behind the fish market in Fethiye.

Ours was all delivered and set up, 26" LCD TV, swivell bracket, 2 attached shelves and satillite messing about all for 700TL. Thought I'd mention that in case you cant get it fixed. Our plasm TV died after 5 years, aparently that was old. I dont know how long LCD generally last

Someone may reconise him as a repair a man and have his number. Good luck

We have a samsung about 5 or 6 years old and sometimes we have same problem, turning it off and on via the remote and the power button works for us so far. good luck.

Thanks for the replies, the set is about 5 years old, brought it with us from UK.

Luckily there are some on sale in Kipa at the moment for just under 700TL ours cost about £700 when we bought it:(:(

Try getting a repair guy to have a look at it - i think those things have slow burn fuses in them that tend to blow after a while. Powercuts here dont help.

There is a little tv/elec repair shop in Gunlukbasi, near Melissa supermarket, dont know the name but he has a high counter in it.  Worth walking along to find it.
