The 3C's would like to thank both Lynne Hart and Jacqui Harvey for their kindness and generosity in donating £50 to our children's charity.
To remind members, Lynne sadly had to cancel her wedding in Turkey next June following the demise of H4U and Aegean Flights. Unfortunately she was unable to have her deposit refunded by wedding organisers Carole and Tayfun so she decided to put the deposit up for sale on the forum for anyone else who was looking to get married in Turkey. She said that she would donate £100 (half of the £200 "for sale" price) to the purchasers favourite charity. Jacqui subsequently purchased the deposit for her son and his fiance.
Jacqui and Lynne have now decided to split the £100 between Calis Children's Charity and the animals which is very kind of them and Lynne paid the £50 into our account last week.
Fortunately Lynne has now rearranged her wedding for 21 April in Birmingham followed by a honeymoon in Calis and Jacqui's son is getting married in Turkey next September. Jacqui gets to buy a new hat and the children and the animals both benefit. Thank you both so much.
