I booked late last night an emergency flight to get a relative back home quickly. They go tomorrow on a Monarch flight. Having booked and paid I now find we have no paperwork or anything to show this flight is booked. I thought maybe we might get an invoice or something. They will be in enough distress as it is without getting any more at Dalaman. Can anyone help by letting me know what procedure may be in place for this booking. Many thanks for any replies.

Did you book online or over the phone? If you booked online you should have put in email details and would have had an email regarding the booking? If by phone you would have a booking reference number. All you need is the reference number then go to the Monarch booking in desk and hand that over the ticket should be there with them. Maybe re contact them and ask for either email confirmation or the booking reference number.

i dont think they send tickets/e mails if its booked within three days of flight time, you will have to collect at the airport.

You can accompany your relative into the airport as far as check-in and until they go through passport control. Perhaps you could go along to help. Presumably if you've booked onto a Monarch flight there will be some reps around. Just collar one of them and ask if they can help - I'm sure if you explain the circumstances they'll point you in the right direction.

Thanks for all the replies, yes I booked on line and have not received an email as yet,I was waiting to receive a ref number. Thanks Carolyn for your info, I was not aware I could go into the airport so will probably do that and help them.

You'll have to go through the security check as you go in so be careful what you're carrying! There are places you can go and have a drink before they go through into departures. When you leave you have to go back down an escalator which is at the front of the terminal - as you go into the building and through the security check, it is in the left hand corner. We've done it on several occasions when seeing people off without any problems.

Received an invoice when the office opened today and it says it is a ticketless flight so hopefully we can now get them back to the UK quickly.
