The splash is when folk dive into the sea for a quick swim, mostly in fancy dress & are sponsored to do so. It raises quite a bit of money for Calis Childrens Charity each year.

We arrive Boxing day put probably to late for the splash but would also be interested in what else is going on up until the New year we are back on the 2nd  Jan

The Boxing day splash is great fun especially if the weather is nice. Lots of people turn out for it and there are some great fancy dress outfits. Usually there is hot soup and snacks for those taking part. Sponsorship forms will be available before long. I think everywhere else is pretty quiet between Boxing day and New Year. Some of the bars will be open on the sea front. 8)
