Two Kindnesses Don't Make a Right
« on: November 12, 2011, 18:30:08 PM »
My mum is away so we are keeping an eye on her house. A parcel delivery note came through her door a couple of days ago (which we found today) saying the usual "sorry we missed you" and in other comments the driver had written that rather than take it back to the depot he had kindly gone round the back and left it in the blue recycling bin.

We found no parcel and in fact nothing at all in the blue bin. The next door neighbour kindly put my ma's blue bin out for her the very next morning [|)]

Oh no, what a rotten  thing to happen!!!!!!
Have you contacted delivery firm?  Not sure they should be leaving in bin.

Very similar thing happend to us a few years back in UK. Ordered a camera online and waited for delivery - nothing came so rang company and complained whereby a replacement was sent which we got. About a month later i was clearing an area round the back side of house removing packing boxes etc as we had also recently moved in - and guess what i found! A slightly damp but perfectly working camera!
