Thomas Cook Find Funding Agreement With Banks

Travel firm Thomas Cook has reached agreement with its bankers to provide it with new access to funding. Its bankers, including Barclays, HSBC, RBS and UniCredit, have agreed to provide a new £200m facility until 30 April 2013. It replaces the £100m short-term facility announced on 21 October 2011.

Great news,at least now i will be able to get home for xmas,as Ian said we would all have suffered in the long run, as most of us book with them,and already have booked several flights for next year.

I'm not sure where you got German owned from Jacqui - none of the significant share holding owners are German as far as I know. It is indeed very good news, I just hope it gives them the breathing space to straighten themselves out.
