Proud of my son's Christmas good turn
« on: December 15, 2011, 15:55:16 PM »
My son got a call from a woman who said the radiator in her two young children's room was not working and the children were freezing cold.:(  She said her and her husband where both out of work and would not have any money until next week, but if he did the work she would pay him next week.
My son went around and fixed the radiator, As she had no money she asked him would he accept a bottle of wine instead of payment, Her husband used to work for a company that supplied it. He took a bottle of Rose for his fiancee.
So next time anyone says Plumbers charge a small fortune please remember that they are not all the same.    I am really proud of my son, his heart is in the right place. :D

He'll never make it as a plumber! Good on him, now and again situations change and they may meet again, when one of them is MD of a massive shopping centre or something, looking to place a big annual maintenance contract :D
