Happy New Year All
I have just been looking on Google Earth and have seen this bay KATRANCI KOYU I was wondering if anyone else has been there and if there is a dolmus from Calis or Fethiye my place is in Koca Calis. Its just passed Yaniklar on the Dalaman road, looks a nice place ? Thanks in advance crookes875

Yes there is a dolmus from Fethiye to Katranci Beach and Gunluclu throughout the season.
Sorry i can,t remember times and frequency.

Yes there is a dolmus to Katranci you have to get there early to get sun loungers it only has a small beach but the water is shallow and there is a sandy beach.

Once the Turkish holidays start it gets absolutely rammed. Some families bring everything including the kitchen sink and stay there for weeks.

Got to agree with Colwyn.A party of us went 2 years ago and we could hardly see any sand for the fag ends that had been left behind.

Schools generally break up mid June & go back early to mid September depending on how the bayram falls

I love Katrançi Koyu outwith the Turkish school holidays.Theres a chap there who runs the restaurant and he does a package of picking you up from your hotel etc,entry into the beach,sun lounger and umbrella,lovely lunch,mini bus back home and all for 30tl!Well worth it.Lovely bay,safe beach for children nice walks around the bay.
