Recently posted by a friend on Facebook.  Forgive me but I have copied her words as they are heartfelt and I don't think I could put it any better.

Many people here know our dear friend Soo Parr personally and via the internet. Soo is very poorly at the moment and putting up an extraordinary fight against cancer..Soo is the one, and only original Dolphin Angel....she is an example to all of us, an inspiration and leader to those of us who argue cruelty to animals and fight for dolphin freedom. We need to focus more than ever on our campaign. Free the Olu Deniz Dolphins, Free the Kas Dolphins, Free All Captive Dolphins In Turkey...Soo, we will carry this on to the end until dolphins swim free. Lots of love to you and Chris, keep strong, we are thinking of you xx

I too have never met her but have known her as an internet friend for 6/7 years.
Soo was involved in the closing of dolphinariums in GB.  As you say a true campaigner and an inspiration to many.

Just heard on FB the sad news that Soo Parr is no longer with us, having survived Cancer until this morning. I am sure that many, like me , will feel so sad to learn of this. However, she will want us to remember her with pride and respect and to carry on the fight against all atrocities. I will try to follow the lead she has set us. Goodnight Soo rest in peace. Condolences to Mr. Froth and all her family and the remaining Dolphin Angels who will carry on the work she started,in her name.
