Hope this is in the right place.

My annual travel insurance is up for renewal, and not planning to visit the every six weeks as per usual this year, wondered if anyone knew what a single trip insurance would be with the airline or agent, and whether worth paying the the annual amount of £25.

Thanks in advance.

I usually take out annual travel insurance but this only covers for 45 days in most instances.  In January I took out a policy for a specific 82 days with Columbus Direct, which cost £37. As I am 60 years old, I thought this was excellent. May - October is £79 and excellent cover.

I use Direct Travel Insurance. My last cover was 5 months in Turkey at a 1 off charge of appx 120 pounds from memory. Good company to deal with, never claimed but hope it stays that way!
